Homework 24th November

Do activity 1 on page 33. Add the Cantabrian watershed to the table. Below the table add a photograph of three rivers. One for each watershed. Do it on your computer and bring it to school in your pendrive on Monday.

GEOGRAPHY TEST Wednesday 22nd November

• Study map on page 15. The landforms that you will need to locate are the ones named in the different paragraphs of the book. Study from page 14 to 21. 
• Use the worksheets and tables you have done for revision.
• Don't forget to write a question for your partner.
• The test will consist of: a map to label, some short questions and four photographs to locate and describe.

Describe these three pictures of coastal landscapes. Picture 1 is Playa de Bolonia in Cádiz. Number 2 is the Cantabrian coast and number 3 is La Malagueta, a beach in Málaga.

Silbo Gomero, the whistled language used on La gomera, was in danger of diying out at the end of the 20th century. then, the islanders worked to preserve it. In 1999, UNESCO declared it a "masterpiece of intangible cultural heritage". Watch how children practise "silbo" at school.
